Photograph is a close-up of the pistil and stamen of the hibiscus flower, with a flower pedal serving as the background. In the photo you can make out the idividual pollen beads, which when attached to bee, bird etc. are then transferred to the stamen. The pollen bead will stick to the stamen, as it has sticky hairs protruding from it which catch the pollen beads. These pictures were taken of indoor plants so no bees or birds have pollenated the flower in most cases, unless I rub against the flower and inadvertently spread the pollen beads to the stamen, which sometimes happens.

Red Hibiscus flower with a little orange and sometimes a little pink in the flower. Buds and leaves are sometimes visible as well.
